Firefly is a multilingual reading journal for Android: a personal library, book search, edition selection, reading sessions, calendar, statistics, quotes, notes, and gentle motivation without pressure.
A separate child profile with its own library, calendar, recommendations, and stats; sensitive actions can be managed with parental rules.
Use the regular stopwatch or Reading Countdown: set a reading goal, and if you want to keep reading after 00:00, the session simply continues.

The same work can exist as a paper book, an eBook, an older edition without ISBN, a different year, or a different cover. Firefly helps you choose the exact edition you are reading without losing progress, quotes, or notes.

You can still add it manually. Enter the title, author, and any edition details you know. If the book has an ISBN-10 or UDC number, Firefly can use those too.
Your library, quotes, statistics, photos/audio, and backups are stored locally on your device. The server is used only to retrieve bibliographic metadata for books.
Yes. Google Play is the recommended installation method and provides Play Protect checks and automatic app updates.

How it works →Firefly’s annual readers’ choice: five categories, eight finalists in each, voting without visible interim standings, and a separate optional raffle for readers.
Finalists are formed at work level, so different ISBNs and editions of the same book do not split its reader support.
How “Book of the Year” works →Each category has one active vote. You can change it until voting closes, while interim results remain hidden.
Voting rules →Joining the raffle is optional and does not affect your vote. The 2026 season has three separate prize slots and a reserve for each. The raffle is conducted only in Ukraine, excluding the temporarily occupied territories; receiving a prize abroad may be agreed separately and is not guaranteed.
